Lunch and Learn Mini Classes
Lunch & Learn programs are held every few months -- check back here for Fall 2010 dates as they become available! SAVE THE DATE! Our September Lunch & Learn will be held on SEPTEMBER 14 (due to the Labor Day holiday the 1st week of the month).
Lunch and Learn programs are held from approximately 12-1 p.m., immediately following clean up of the Fellowship Hall. On the date(s) listed, please bring a bag lunch and plan to sit back, enjoy the good company of your fellow volunteers, and learn from our experts.
If you would like to be a Lunch and Learn instructor one month, please contact Sandra Bray (sandra.bray@att.net or 919-845-7700).
The Flower Shuttle Cookbook Is Here!!
We're so excited about our cookbook! Have you seen it yet? There are so many wonderful recipes. You’ll want to have your own copy and copies for family and friends, too! The cost is $15, and you can pay by cash or check. Hurry and get yours. The books are going fast and you won’t want to miss out.
Let's Help Our Neighbors
The Healing Place has been a good friend and partner to The Flower Shuttle from our inception, and in these tough economic times, the Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen has an even greater need for donations. The first Tuesday of each month we like to give back by asking our volunteers to help:
The Healing Place has requests for notebooks, pens, note cards, small toiletry items, soap, etc.
The Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen requests change from month to month, but they are always in need of ready made tomato sauce, canned tuna, canned beans, and rice. Please bring your donations to The Flower Shuttle on the first Tuesday of the month. Thanks for caring about these wonderful organizations.
