Flower Shuttle 2 Year Anniversary, Storage Shed Dedication, and Town Meeting!
On Tuesday, April 22nd, The Flower Shuttle Will celebrate our TWO YEAR anniversary with a "Town Meeting" and the Dedication of our new Storeage Shed!
9-11am- Regular Flower Shuttle Session
11:15am- Shed Dedication
11:30am-1:00pm- TFS "Town Meeting." Everything you ever wanted to know about TFS but were afraid to ask!

Lunch and Learn Mini Classes
Our Lunch and Learn series resumed in September and will run through May 2008. We have several exciting programs in store for our Flower Shuttle volunteers. On the dates listed, please bring a bag lunch and plan to sit back, enjoy the good company of your fellow volunteers, and learn from our experts. Lunch and Learn programs are held from approximately 12-1 p.m., immediately following clean up of the fellowship hall.
April 1, 2008 – Our own Flower Shuttle volunteer, Hilda Patterson, will demonstrate flower arranging - incorporating her excellent floral design skills using household and items we can find in our yards. She has been a designer for many years and we are lucky to have the chance to learn a few more design tips from this veteran in the floral industry.
May 20, 2008 – Donna Pierce of Flowers on Broad Street in Fuquay-Varina is another award-winning florist in our area who will join our esteemed group of floral professionals who have presented to our Flower Shuttle volunteers. While Donna specializes in weddings, she will also demonstrate easy designs we can use in our homes.

*Technology: Equipment to run our Power Point Presentation (laptop & projector)
*Storage: Volunteers willing to store containers and other supplies in their garages or attics
*Cash Donations:Donations are used to cover printing of flyers, bouquet cards, postage, office supplies, contractor's paper to cover our tables and floral equipment. Did you know that a $40 donation will purchase a case of oasis; a $25 donation will purchase a case of bouquet picks and $10 will purchase a roll of contractor's paper.
